It’s been a while since I’ve updated the blog so here’s whats been going on.

I have been doing a lot of freelance  for HSM Advertising and you can see some of the print ad designs I’ve been doing for them on my Design/Layout page.

Since last Fall I’ve been doing some freelance for Modea, located in Virginia, creating xml driven flash content.  They are a great company to work with.

I recently finished a short run contract position with Johnson & Johnson at their corporate headquarters in the IT division. I did some general graphic design work, photo editing , some flash animated charts and some html layout. I also created html email content and worked with SharePoint. I used both PC and Mac platforms. While there I had a chance to use Final Cut Pro. I would have liked to learn that program to the level I know Premeire, but I didn’t do as much video editing as I would have liked.

 So between all of that and the other work I’ve been doing I just haven’t had the time to keep the blog as updated as I would like. But check back often be cause I’m always creating and will keep posting.

Here are some fake magazine covers I did recently.  These can be done for birthday’s, anniversaries,  weddings, or for any special event. You could have a cover done just for fun, just use yor imagination. I will be doing more samples in the near future. I plan on doing covers for cars and trucks, mens health and sporting mags as well.

Sorry I haven’t posted on this site in a while. I’ve been busy with a large  design package, which is coming to an end, and I have been spending a lot of time  updating my other site galanbeck.com.  In the next few days I’ll be adding a download page. I’ve been working on creating some new screen savers and will be adding some desktop wallpapers to that page as well.
