Tips on Taking Photos
Tips on taking photos.
The quality of your poster depends on the quality of your photos!
Make sure your photos are sharp and clear. If the photo is blurry, I can’t use it. The higher the mega-pixel of your camera, the better the photo.
Use the highest resolution setting on your camera. Cameras under 5 mega-pixels may result in poor poster quality.
Do not re-size or shrink the photos.
Rule of thumb, if the photos are less then 1mb in size, they’re most likely to small.
Turn off the date stamp on your camera. Photos with the date stamp will not only delay the process but I will charge you more for removal.
When taking photos take a close look at your surroundings. Trees, buildings, people taking the photo and even clouds reflect off the cars windows and body. Large empty parking lots work best but watch out for painted parking space lines. Avoid taking photos of your vehicle in grass fields. Grass will reflect off the body and especially any chrome.
Try standing at an angle to any reflective surface when taking a photo. Your vehicle is basically a mirror. Watch out for any flash flares in the photo.
I know it’s almost impossible to completely eliminate reflections, but if they are at kept at a minimum, the faster you get your poster, the better it will look and the cheaper it will be.
For those without cameras or who do not want to take their own photos or would just prefer to have professional photos of their vehicle, I am available for photo-shoots in the Phila. and So. Jersey area for a small additional fee. Group sessions are also available, please contact me for more info.
