Car Poster FAQ

Q. How long will it take to get my poster?
A.
Generally in 2 to 3 weeks. I’ll usually email the proof in about 7 to 10 days after I get your photos and we discuss the general lay out. I won’t print the piece until you approve the proof I send to you. So if you don’t regularly check your email, it could take longer.

 Q. What will the design of the poster look like, how do you know what I like?
A.
You pick one of the three  layout styles, supply any text you want on your poster along with any other instructions and I will combined that info along with your photos, add my design magic and  ”presto!” out comes a unique one of a kind work of art.

Q. I got my proof, can I make any changes?
A.
I send you the proof to check and make sure the copy, if any, is correct and spelled right. Minor changes may be made at no extra cost. Remember, I would have spent many hours by this point striving to create an original work of art. Major changes would require additional cost. I’m careful to design my posters with the desires of my clients in the forefront of the process. I’m all about customer service and want you to have something you will be proud to show off for years to come. I will make reasonable efforts to keep my clients satisfied. I want your business today and any future orders you may have. Please read below : About screen image quality.

Q. What is a proof?
A.
I will send you an electronic file that you will be able to view and even print. This file will be a lower resolution then what will be printed and it will have a watermark on it, otherwise it is identical to the final.

Q. How many photos should I send to you?
A.
I recommend taking several photos from many different angles of your vehicle. Take photos of the interior, exterior, engine, dash, seats, tires, decals, emblems and anything that may be unique to your vehicle. Take close up shots, far away shots well you get the idea. A maximum of 10 photos usually is sufficient.

Q. What if I want to add a title , descriptions or specs?
A.
That depends on what you want your poster to be. Some of that would be really cool at car shows and cruise-ins, but may not be as cool if you plan on hanging it in your living room. What you don’t want is a novel on your poster, so keep it simple.

Q. How will the colors look?
A
. I’ve been doing photography and graphic design for many years now and it is almost impossible to get the colors of your print to match the colors on your vehicle. A print is not the same as paint. Having said that I try very hard to get a good and reasonable representation of your vehicles color.
