My friend Blair and I, video taped this back in 2004 at the Khyber Pass in Philadelphia, Pa.
I’m just now finally posting it. It starts out black and white, shaky and strobe-like but it does settle down. This was a very tough place to video with just a couple of cheap camcorders. I spliced together what I could.

Here’s another of my really old animations. I think this was done around 2000, and is another of my  “bad-amations”.  This means it is drawn poorly and animated poorlier. I did not want to spend a lot of time on it, and I didn’t. The concept is corrupt and the graphics are disturbing. If this was rated it would be TV- M A L V S U C K and so you propably should watch it. But if you do please leave a comment below.

Last year I did a Photo A Day on my other blog,  the art and photography of G Alan Beck, now that it’s over, I’m now on to “Image a week”.

Ha! I found this very old animation I did around 1999-2000. I though I would brush off the digital dust and show it. This isn’t by any means my best but it has a certain charm. Done in Flash 3 or 4, if I remember correctly.

Poor Derrick, all he wants to do is get an award for all the hard work he puts into his lawn. But the weeds have don’t like him all that much, constantly killing their kin. Who will win in this not so epic short animation.
